Photovoltaics — Residential
Your roof produces your own power.
Single- or multi-family home, 5 to 30 kWp. Longi modules, Huawei inverters, optionally combined with battery and heat pump into a complete energy system.

Two building types
Single- or multi-family home
Same components, different focus. We design both — the difference lies in sizing, ZEV concept and metering.
Single-family home
5 – 15 kWp
Pitched, hip or flat roof. We size based on yearly consumption plus planned future loads (heat pump, EV). Mounted in 2 – 4 days.
- Typically 25 – 50 m² of module area
- One Huawei inverter with backup option
- Self-consumption 30 % without, 60 – 80 % with battery
Multi-family home
15 – 30 kWp
For owners and cooperatives. With a ZEV (self-consumption community) all parties share the solar power — pragmatically billed through a single metering point.
- ZEV concept incl. metering and billing
- Multiple strings, larger inverters
- Integration with a central heat pump possible
Components
Our standard components for residential systems
Proven setup of Longi and Huawei — complemented with battery and heat pump when it fits.
Modules
Longi
Premium modules with 25-year product and performance warranty. High efficiency, even in diffuse light.
Inverter
Huawei FusionSolar
Hybrid-capable, integrated monitoring via app, optional backup module.
Battery (optional)
LUNA2000-21-S1
21 kWh LFP storage from Huawei. Scalable, fire-safe, 6,000+ cycles.
Heat pump (optional)
Air-to-water
Combined with PV and battery — solar power heats and makes hot water.

Häufige Fragen
Frequently asked about residential systems
What does a PV system for my single-family home cost?
A typical 10 – 15 kWp system costs between CHF 25,000 and CHF 40,000 including mounting and commissioning. Cantonal incentives and one-off remuneration reduce this by a further 15 – 30 %. The quote transparently shows components, labour and payback time.
How quickly does the system pay off?
At current electricity prices and a typical consumption profile we calculate 8 – 12 years payback for an SFH system without battery — with battery 10 – 14 years. The key driver is your self-consumption share: the more you use yourself, the faster it pays off.
Does a battery make sense on top?
Without a battery, you sell surplus power back to the grid at a lower rate than you buy it. With a battery, self-consumption rises from around 30 % to 60 – 80 %. Whether it pays off depends on your consumption profile — we calculate both variants.
Does the system work during a power outage?
With a standard inverter, the system shuts down during a grid outage for safety reasons. With a Huawei backup module or a Victron off-grid system we set up uninterrupted backup power — useful for heat pump, fridge, lights.
Can I run PV economically on a multi-family home?
Yes, typically via a ZEV concept. All tenants receive solar power from the shared roof and pay an agreed tariff to the owner. We plan the ZEV concept, metering setup and billing model.
How long does the installation take for me?
We usually install single-family home systems in 2 – 4 days. Permitting and grid connection applications are planned in advance so things run smoothly on site. Total time from contract to commissioning: typically 2 – 4 months.
