A day with Bergler IQ

How IQ thinks ahead, from morning to month end.

A typical day at a site with a battery, a solar system and a charging park. The processes are real, the times are an example.

  1. 05:30

    The forecast is ready

    Sun, consumption and charging park for the next 36 hours, with the weather from MeteoSwiss. IQ knows how full the battery will be in the evening.

  2. 07:15

    A truck is charging

    The charging station draws a lot of power. The battery adds its share, and the grid stays below the peak that is already paid for this month.

  3. 12:30

    The sun fills the battery

    Whatever the site does not need flows into the battery instead of the grid. The cockpit shows it live.

  4. 18:45

    A peak is coming

    The current quarter hour is heading for a new monthly peak. IQ sends a message to the phone, and if the state of charge is low, the charging stations throttle.

  5. 21:00

    The reserve for tomorrow

    The next days will be cloudy. IQ calculates whether the battery will last and suggests recharging gently overnight.

  6. Month end

    Billed

    Every charge belongs to a customer. IQ creates the statement and the invoice with a QR payment slip and shows the payout to the operator.

Every site is different. So is IQ.

One has only a battery, the next only charging stations, a third has both plus customers who pay for charging. IQ switches on what the hardware offers, and the add-ons you want. The portal only shows what you have.

Frequently asked questions

Bergler IQ: the key questions

Who is Bergler IQ for?

For businesses with a battery, charging stations or both, whose system we build or look after. From a business with its own solar system to a charging park for trucks.

Which devices does IQ understand?

Today: batteries from Renepoly, charging stations with the open standard OCPP (directly or forwarded from another provider), Pico charging stations via smart-me, meters from smart-me and KNX, and the weather from MeteoSwiss. We are happy to check other devices for you.

Do I have to take all modules?

No. IQ adapts to your hardware: without charging stations there is no charging park in the portal, without customers no billing. Add-ons such as scheduled charging or your own look are only switched on if you want them.

Does IQ control my battery on its own?

IQ calculates the plans, monitors the battery continuously and suggests what to do. Today the settings on the battery are made by the Bergler team, together with you.

Who sees my data?

Every login sees only its own site, drivers only their own charging sessions. You sign in with a one-time code by e-mail or a passkey on your device.

Can the portal carry my logo and my colours?

Yes. A site can get its own look and its own address. Without its own design, IQ appears in Bergler's colours.

What does Bergler IQ cost?

Bergler IQ is available as a subscription. You can get the battery and charging stations with or without IQ. The price depends on your site and the modules; we make you an offer, together with the system or for an existing one.
